Tia (May) Bellisle Biography
Welcome to Tia’Spa! Every day is an opportunity to change someone’s life with knowledge and skills. My beauty career has awarded me with traveling the world as a free-lance educator, owning several salons with spas, appearing on stage and in magazines and guiding hundreds of thousands of beauty professionals to successful careers. My most cherished moments? Helping clients like you get over daily struggles with their hair, skin and sometimes, life in general. I can help you with a new look, low maintenance color and cut, changes in your skin or one of your many other beauty needs. I look very forward to sharing my beauty tips, tricks, experience and passion with you! More… I passed the Wisconsin State Board for Cosmetology in the mid ‘80’s, immediately began working for major beauty companies, and 1989, opened the La Mirage Salon, to allow me freedom to travel and teach. During my years with Paul Mitchell I gave haircutting presentations in South Korea, helped open a cosmetology school in Trinidad, taught hair relaxing in Puerto Rico and spent 9 weeks as a celebrity hairstylist at the Grand Palazzo Hotel in St. Thomas along with travels to Italy, Hawaii, Toronto, the Bahamas and more. After becoming a free-lance educator I worked throughout the United States and Canada with companies such as The Andis Clipper Company, Skin Blends Skin Care, Trevor Sorbie and Image Hair Care Companies, The Framesi and Italy Hair Color Companies, the Italian color and hair care company Davines and the New Concepts hair extension company. During this time my work was published in Modern Salon, Trends and Renew professional magazines and on educational posters, banners and brochures for many beauty companies. Today, I bring my passion, commitment and knowledge of beauty and guest service to you through Tia’Spa and The Belle Isle Inn. “Find your Shine” at Tia’Spa. |
